A full balayage service at Amavi typically takes 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on your hair length, thickness, and target result. This includes the application, processing time, toner, and a blowout. We never rush the process — proper processing time is what delivers beautiful, even results without damage.
How Often Do You Need to Top Up?
One of the biggest advantages of balayage over traditional highlights is the grow-out. Because colour is applied freehand rather than from the root, there's no harsh regrowth line. Most clients return every 3–5 months for a refresh — significantly less maintenance than root touch-ups or traditional foil highlights every 6–8 weeks.
